Early stages of development


First of all I want to say that the game is no where near finished. Art, UI, audio, design, balancing and polishing still need to be done. Right now the game is in a playable state with some UI issues but nothing really standing in the way of playing the game. You can enjoy up to 30 stages right now. With that being said, for the last 4 months it has been just me(Dex Robinson) making this game. I am a programmer so all my assets are not mine and bought from different stores. If your looking for a tower defense game with a unique look, chances are you probably have already seen these assets. I am trying to use my programming knowledge to build a better experience in terms of stage design, enemies, upgrades and trying my hand and putting some bit of story content into the game. The more I focus on art the more generic the game will be.

Since it is just me, updates will take longer to come out but I am pretty quick if something major is wrong. Since the game is in active development there will be a lot of changes to UI/UX and balance changes are pretty normal so if you love using a certain tower then it may be getting a buff/nerf in the near future. 

I've made this game because I cannot for the life of me find a decent mazing tower defense game out there. I am not saying mine is the end all be all but it I can maze units around and not have a few pre built places to build towers. Speaking of towers, in AtKM towers are called troops since the towers are little people, with souls and all. So as you build your troops remember they have a family to get back to so don't place them in hazards. Back to my point, TDs have basically been reduced to Kingdom Rush and Bloons clones. I want to maze dammit! 

This is a passion project that I would like to make money off one day so I want to keep this development active but I can only do that with feedback on things you all like and dislike. The last 4 months have been me just playing this myself so I hope a few of you can look past some of the design elements and give me some feedback.
